I listened to a song from Past, Present and Future, an original full-length Hip-Hop CD created by John, an 8th grader in Maryland in Space #3.

I liked the Song “Street Dreamz” because of the awesome rhythm. It was really something that I could dance to.

One thing about the song that stood out to me was the lyrics. The lyrics really mixed with the music, as well as the beat.

Another part that I was impressed with was the way he made it sound like an old school rap, you know like from the old days. Sounds really tight.

I look forward what John makes next, because is songs are great, it rhythm and the beat really mix, and I really think he could make it to the big time.

I found a poem in Space #3 by Alexandra

I love “Snowboarding on Mt. Pilcher,” because she was very descriptive and she makes me get an image in my head.

One part of the poem that stands out for me is: “It is brighter than a flashlight.” I think this is good because once again, she made me have an image in my head. Like I can actually see what is happening.

Another part that I loved was: “Bumpy as a rough boat ride.” This stood out for me because it shows how hard it was to be on the slope while she was skiing.

I look forward to seeing what Alexandra makes next, because she actually gets descriptive and that helps me see what is going on in the story. I also like how she makes me feel as though I was there.

SonicxAmy or ShadowxAmy?

Many Sonic fanatics have the same argument, “Which is better SonAmy or ShadAmy?”

This discussion has brought up many blogs, threads, chats, and emails to many other Sonic fans. This argument has been going on for years now. The quote at the bottom from a Sonic fan really sums my opinion.

“They’re characters, and all characters who end up together were obviously decided to be together by their creators.”

In my opinion, I like both couples. Both SonicxAmy and ShadowxAmy. But many have their own opinion and I respect that. But people shouldn’t get overboard. They are just characters in a popular franchise. I am a great fan, I admit, you may even call it an obsession for me. However, like I said before, the couple are not up to the fans, it is up to the creators of the franchise, Sega.

This is totally up the fans.

In conclusion, if you a fan then go ahead, make arguments about couples, favorite character(s), most loved game of the series, and so on makes the fan community of Sonic so much more interesting and exciting to talk about. So, sure talk about the game if ya want to. Talk about the games moments or the games flaw, but just don’t go overboard on the topic.

I think that this is quite interesting because the movie had just came out and already people are critizing it. I am going to watch the movie tommorow and I believe that it would be good. But, I have to wait and see.

Midnight Kyyuui is a man that is on a mission. Found in the depths of the Underworld, Midnight finds out by a mysterious man in a black coat and a dark hood that a poision is slowly going through his heart. Shocked, Midnight asks if there was a cure for said poision. The man replies “Yes” and then he disappears into the shadows. Midnight goes on a mission for the cure before he dies from the poison. Will he make it?

I found a drawing in Space, Issue #2 by Aisyle

I like “Aero Girl,” because it looks so awesome and has lots of details.
One part of the drawing that stands out for me is the Starbucks shop. I think this is awesome because it looks like it could be a real Starbucks store. No one has ever tried something like that.

Another part that I liked was the character herself. This stood out for me because she looks special in her own way.
I look forward to seeing what Aisyle makes next, because she is a good artist, as well as Lindsea. They both are magnificant artists.

I have no sure answer for this question. I am christian so I believe in God and Jesus Christ. Because I read the Bible and through the teachings from my Mother and Father, I believe that our world has been made by a entity of unimaginable power, God. However, when in science class, I learn of dinosaurs and fossils and the Big Bang. This makes my belief in God more difficult to believe in, seeing as most of these topics in science have actual proof. However, I shall worry of this when I become older. I should not be worrying about how our world was made. All I should be grateful for is the world being born at all.

Many people have asked and wondered “Is fan art really art”?

Technically, is really is. In fact, any form of creactivity is art in it’s own form. Photography, game designing, painting, drawing, sketching, dance, music, and so on. Many believe that art is painting and drawing, but there is many more ways of art to be shown, and fan art is one of them.

Wikipedia: “Fan art or fanart is artwork that is based on a character, costume, item, or story that was created by someone other than the artist.”

Due to fan art sometimes being based on another artwork, if you plan to make fan art, be sure to say that the artwork is not yours and that is is own by whoever DOES own it.

I found a awesome painting in Space, Issue #2 by Lindsea.
I totally loved ”What?” because it looks so so awesome and creative.

One part of the drawing that stands out for me is man in the middle. I think this is cool because he looks so mysterious. And because of the style she drew it, it makes it look even more mysterious.

Another part that I found awesome was the word that is next to the man.This stood out for me because, even though I couldn’t understand what it says, it looks cool. I think it says “Storm”.

I look forward to seeing what Lindsea makes next, because her artwork loks so tight. I believe that she can become a great artist in the future.

I wonder why there is saddness in the world. Is a punishment? Did we do something to deserve saddness, hate, angst. I believe so. Us humans are filled with sin. We all are not perfect. I learned that if we believe in God and Jesus with all of our hearts and ask them forgiveness for your sins. The world will always be in darkness, we make sure that happens. Wars, deaths, and hate are the cause of our trageties and we made that happen. I wonder when the world will be in the light and forever free from hate.

On my break, I had an exciting time. I feel really acomplish because in my break, I successfully made 6 Sonic pictures. And I saw crazy episodes of the “Boondocks”. My favorite episode is “Homies over Hos”. Anyways, I had a good time. I played Video games, played Basketball, and I sleeped…..all the time.

My break was fine. I played basketball all week long. In my last game, I won 20-17. It was cool, but I was pissed off when I had to return back to school. My break was awesome and I can’t wait for Summer Vacation.

My Memories

These are three of my memories and how they seem to connect with one another.

Memory 1:

One day, my dad took my dog out for a walk. However, he took him out without his leash. My dog just got energetic and ran across the street and we never saw my dog again.

_This connects with Memory 2 because it reminds me of my Summer Vacation in Santo Domingo which is where I heard that my dog ran away from my mother__

Memory 2:

I was in Santo Domingo for my summer vacation. I practically hated it. The mosquitoes, the limited electricity, and the weak environment. The only thing I liked about it was my friends and family being there.

__This connects with Memory 3 because when I was in Santo Domingo, I was at the beach. I was sunburned…..painfully….__

Memory 3:

When I was in the beach in Santo Domingo, I was swimming in the ocean and I was there for so long, I was totally red. Very single touch was furious pain.

These memories stick with me because, unlike most memories, these memories happened in a totally new environment, Dominican Republic. The last time I was here was when I was a little kid and I could practaclly remember anything. Because it felt so new to me, what happened there still is in my memories.

“Where I am From”

The smell of the soap dish
surrounds the house, totally smells awesome.

I am from the basketball court next to my home. I play 24/7 and always with my friends.

Around my neighborhood, every year, the trees die with their branches drooping down depressingly. They seem to come back to life when June begins.

Andres plays his most faved instrument, The Saxophone, and Gladys sews endlessly, making a new creation after the next.

Father’s artistic talent and Mother’s intelligent.

Rice and Chicken. Orange juice on the side.

Incredibly tall. Towering over even the elders and the adults.

My life is in sketchbooks, photo albums, and my computer.

A Day in School

I wake in the morning
to sound of my alarm clock ringing.
I sigh in despair
knowing what the day will bring.

I go to school,
thinking “What can happen today?”
And once I get there,
nothing goes okay.

I left my homework
back in my room.
My teacher takes out a red marker
to show my obvious doom.

In her notebook,
next to my name..
I see a dark red F
the rest will be the same.

Next period
is as worse the last.
There was actually a pop quiz
it was more like a blast.

The rest of the day
just stays really boring.
While I am sleeping,
my head is soaring.

When the day is over
I am feeling like rain.
Because I know that tomorrow
I got to start it all over again.
